Doc has traveled to more than 38 countries and has a strong interest in bringing international culture into his music.  He speaks Russian, German, Frisian, Spanish and Italian.

He has been featured on several music series with his stunning program of Russian Music.  The Ann Arbor Russian Festival has invited him back a number of times to share his beautiful gypsy melodies and fiery cossack songs. Having traveled to the former Soviet Union 13 times as a public health official, he learned to speak fluent Russian and brings that flawless dialogue into his music. 

Doc can do either a featured program of international music, accompanying himself on guitar and piano, or add international flare to any program of popular music with songs in Spanish, Japanese, Italian, German and Russian.
